DVO weren’t showing off anything new as such, but after what must be one of the most drawn out product releases ever (it think even rivals Hope’s Eternity seatpost), the big news is that production forks are finally a reality. Apparently the entire first production run was pre-sold, right through to the end customer, but another batch will be landing in the UK in the next week or so and some of those will be up for grabs, so if you’re after a set you might finally be in luck. Hopefully this means we might eventually get a pair to test out too.
A big part of what DVO set out to achieve was a fork that can be easily serviced and tweaked by the owner, and this dismantled pair was testament to just how simple it is. Even the most mechanically challenged rider should be able to get their head around these forks, but just in case they can’t DVO are giving all owners a Skype contact who will be at their beck and call to answer any tech questions. After sales service doesn’t get much better than that.
