Fistful of Films: 5 Edits We Like (Plus Some Other Stuff)

There’s a wealth of quality mountain bike edits coming out each and every week, so we’re now rounding up our favourites into one post for your viewing pleasure. This week check out Danny MacAskill in Barcelona, Fairclough and co. in the snowy Alps, high-paced XC, and all sorts of action from the City Downhill scene.

1: Inspired in Barcelona

Danny MacAskill and the Inspired Bikes crew head to Barcelona on a hunt for sunshine and great riding. Looks like they lucked out!

2: Gstaad-Scott show us how training is done

The Gstaad-Scott team head for the hills for a training camp with a difference. The life of a pro mountain biker eh?!

3: THOMAS SLAVIK ON URBAN RACING

4X racer Thomas Slavik is trying his hand at the City Downhill World Tour game. Here he tells us about his plans and how the first race in the series went… (Watch his huge crash from that race here.) Judging by his most recent result in Valparaiso yesterday it’s going well!

4: XC on Dirt? Whatever next?

Kona’s idea of XC seems to be a little different to that of, say, the International Olympic Committee. The riding in this vid is a far cry from an Essex field.  < tut tut.

Beautiful scenery, epic trails, and a lot of fun being had in this XC edit from Kona.

5: Mick Hannah gives it some in Valparaiso

Well, it is urban DH season after all. Sick Mick havin’ it down the sketchy-as-ever Valparaiso course this past weekend.

And finally, something completely different

This is probably one of the most elaborate, and also best, adverts we’ve ever seen. Stan Smith is the real deal! As for the other guy…
