Dirt #145 Out Now! Includes Goats

It’s that time of the month again folks! You know what we mean – the latest issue of Dirt is finally on the shelves, and what an action packed mag it is. On the cover we have one man and his goat (Bryan Regnier on his new YT, which we took an exclusive look at in Israel of all places), and inside the mag is stacked full of all manner of features: Brayton and Vink in the Lakes; trail hunting in Italy; turning arcs into squares; words from Tracy Moseley, Manon Carpenter, and Alex ‘road rash’ Bond; Endtroducing with Hope’s Rachael Walker; and much, much more…

Here’s a few of the bigger features for you to glimpse before you head out to buy the mag…

On the Lash – the Jared Graves interview

It’s so different. The training, the skills, the riding, everything. I’ve always thought of myself first and foremost as a mountain biker. That’s a big part of the reason I stopped 4X, to me it wasn’t mountain biking.

Our big Jared Graves interview… The incredible Aussie talks about his life and career (and what a career it has been so far).

Ground control – Steve Jones is on a quest for perfect suspension

We have applied the same technology we use in F1/GT Le Mans for dampers in cars we have manufactured for Ferrari/Williams and also for the Citroen World Rally car

– Franco Fratton

Now here’s the sort of feature this magazine goes above and beyond to create. Steve Jones has been on a mission to Vicenza in Italy to meet a man by the name of Franco Fratton, who has some serious tricks up his sleeve when it comes to suspension tunes.

Haulage – enduro bike test part 1

…when several 140 and 160 bikes weigh nearly the same you can understand the attraction of the latter if you were after one bike.

We are putting a crop of enduro bikes to the test back-to-back. In this issue we look at BMC’s Trailfox, Specialized’s S-Works Enduro, and Intense’s Carbine.

Tuscan Raiders – is Italy the new France?

Our ascent from airport to destination could probably be described as ‘brisk’, certainly more so than it could potentially have been with anyone less motivated than Rolando…

We took a trip to the Tuscan resort of Abetone late last summer to see what was on offer, and boy were we pleasantly surprised.
