Coming up with a list of the 100 best products in mountain biking year on year is a tough business and a selective process that takes days, weeks, and even months of deliberation and debate. Eventually our team whittles the bikes, products, and kit down to a finalised list and within that we sub-categorise things. In terms of bikes we’ve already given you a roundup of our top-rated downhill bikes and enduro bikes of 2014, and now we move swiftly on to the best trail mountain bikes – in our opinion and in no particular order.
