Nukeproof bikes and components are designed for a range of disciplines, from World Cup-level DH riding to Enduro, 4X and slopestyle. Since its birth, the company has been at the forefront of innovation in mountain biking, introducing groundbreaking products and designs such as custom hydroformed tubesets, high-performance suspension systems and the integrated gyro headtube on its new Rook slopestyle bike.
Nukeproof support a diverse range of riders from all corners of the globe, including the World Cup DH-competing Chainreactioncycles.com/Nukeproof crew, featuring Sam Hill, Joe Smith and Mike Jones. All members of the team will ride the Nukeproof Pulse in 2014, built around the tried and tested Nukeproof Pulse downhill frame, with RockShox Boxxer World Cup forks and a RockShox Vivid RC2 rear shock.
Other teams sponsored by the company include CRC/Nukeproof Ireland, WideOpen Mag and Kovarik Racing, as well as individual riders in the UK, Spain, Germany and Switzerland. In 2013, the formation of the new Nukeproof Enduro Team was announced to compete in the Enduro World Series, the UK Gravity Enduro Series and Megavalanche, featuring Tobias Pantling, Joe Buck and Chris Keeble-Smith.
Apart from the Pulse, the Nukeproof range features the Scalp, the workhorse of the fleet and the company’s original DH race rig, the AM275, a true ‘do-it-all’ model designed for All-Mountain adventure, Alpine playtime and Megavalanche-style Gravity Enduro events, and the lighter, shorter-travel Mega TR275. There is also a full range of wheels and components, and a wide selection of rider-designed body armour.
