By the end of this shoot it was obvious that not only can these two shred well together on any trail, but it was also fun to see their personalities showing through as they were challenged by the physicality of working in the heat, interacting and having fun with all the cool local kids. When asked about what was challenging about this film shoot, Fairclough said “filming is more chill than racing, but when you add in the intense humidity that hit us 24/7, pushing the bikes all over the mountains with the 4am wake up calls… it all made for some hard fun!” And Semenuk, when asked how Fairclough was like as a shred companion, “once I got over the fact that he was gonna constantly correct my English, I realised he is a super fun kid to be around and is all about getting loose on his bike!”
