For many riders the Maxxis High Roller 2 3C needs little introduction; it’s been a well-regarded choice for many years as on the works bike of Josh Bryceland and rightly so. It has almost become the universal tyre of choice, and not so long ago few brands had an answer for the High Roller such was its superb all-round dry condition ability.
Version II comes in an extensive range of options; dual, triple and 3C compounds, with a tougher EXO sidewall giving additional security and durability in rockier terrain. Tubeless ready is a given these days and the TR models have proved reliable for us on most rims.
