This new Rage full face from 661 looks like it could be a popular choice this year thanks to some good styling, low weight, and a low price. At £139.99 for a carbon/fibreglass helmet we think that’s very competitive. It has apparently been designed with enduro racing in mind, in the fact that the rear comes up fairly high so that it won’t interfere with a backpack, and there’s lots of venting on the chin guard to help with breathing on long stages.

We’ve always like 661’s Recon helmet and so we are glad they haven’t tinkered with it too much for 2014, and the tweak that they have done is a great one. All they’ve done is replace the previous sizing adjustment system with a new BOA one, and it makes what was already a very comfy lid even comfier.
