e*thirteen have done a bit of work on their wheel lineup with the result being increased performance and lower prices. Some of the wheels now lose the carbon central section from the hubs in favour of a one piece aluminium design in order to help keep the cost down, plus the axle and bearing system on the rear hub has been tweaked to improve longevity.
Narrow/wide rings are now everywhere and e*thirteen are no exception. They’ve got pretty much all bases covered, including spline mounted options. Will conventional single rings soon be a thing of the past?
Like Hope and a few other manufacturers e*thirteen are now making their press fit bottom brackets in the ‘screw-in’ style. To us this makes a whole lot of sense. It might add a little bit of weight, but hey if it puts an end to the problems we’ve been having with press fit bottom brackets then who cares?
