Lenzerheide World Cup 2016: Rachel Atherton wins women’s

Number 11 and counting

Rachel Atherton has won her 11th consecutive World Cup at Lenzerheide. She’s claimed she’s going for the clean sweep this season and, well, we’d like to see somebody try and stop her.

First placed qualifier Tahnee Seagrave launched the only real challenge to Rachel’s dominance but still finished 0.7 seconds back – that’s the closest anyone’s got to Rachel in a long time though… Myriam Nicole’s strong comeback saw her seal third place while Manon Carpenter came fourth. Emilie Siegenthaler took a big crash in qualification yesterday but recovered well today to take fifth.
