Rachel Atherton wins the women’s race at the 2016 Vallnord World Cup and goes into the history books.


Has it ever been done before? No, not in downhill. Rachel Atherton has taken a clean sweep this year winning every single one of the 7 rounds of the 2016 World Cup. Not only that but she has extended her winning run to an unbelievable 13 consecutive World Cup victories. That has to be a new record?

Rachel Atherton had already secured the overall series title back at round 6 in Canada.
