And finally, we’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Bern helmets, but until now they’ve really only made uber cool piss pot style lids with very little in the way of ventilation. Great for dirt jumping and the like, but we’ve always wanted to see what they could do if they turned their hand to a trail lid. Well we need wonder no more cos this ‘Morrison’ lid is exactly that, and we like it. It’s definitely not your average lid thanks to a few unique design features, and the construction technique is different to the norm too. With a retail price of £80 this lid is priced very competitively too. We’ve taken one home to test out and we’ll let you know how we get on with it…
