MONDRAKER SUMMUM DH FRAMESET
There are few riders, if indeed any, out there on the World Cup scene with as much experience and understanding of bikes and suspension as Fabien Barel. Along with his mechanic Paul Walton they have tinkered the frame geometry, suspension internals and linkages all in the search for the ultimate set up and often for a one-off race such as the World Championships. Fabien has brought all of his experience to the table working in partnership with expert engineer and top World Cup racer Cesar Rojo on the Summum.
The result is one of the most sought after bikes of 2010, with great attention to detail, such as the adjustable geometry allowing serious racers and riders alike to dial in the bike to the terrain they are riding. This is done both by adjustable headset sleeves +/- 1 and +/- 2 degrees and by changing the chainstay lengths (from 435mm through to 450mm), these parts are supplied on the Pro Team Frame and the Pro Team Bike, or available as aftermarket upgrades for the standard Summum build. Another neat touch is theconcealed cable housing finishing off one of the cleanest looking, lightest and fastest bikes available in 2010.
