The BoXXer is a classic, no doubt, and one that thanks to its BlackBox (RS World Cup test team) development at the cutting end of the sport continues to lead the way. With the likes of Steve Peat and Sam Hill undertaking a lot of the groundwork and product testing it ensures that the BoXXer stays right up there as one of the best DH forks on the market. Light, stiff and supple, the new incarnation of the BoXXer is a marked improvement and a great performer out of the box. Over the course of the year we found the air sprung World Cup forks to be our preferred model, at first having expected the coil sprung Team model to be more reliable, but the World Cup versions have pleasantly surprised us, remaining consistent and reliable, and of course they are the lightest of the BoXXer range.
