Manon Carpenter has had one hell of a year. Taking the overall World Cup and the World Champs in 2014, Manon has been on fire. Her winters consist of riding all sorts of two-wheeled things – BMX and motocross as well as MTB, and whatever she’s doing, it’s going right. You make your own luck, and she’s clearly been full-tilt on making hers, because it’s coming back in as fast as she’s training for it. The third in Laurence Crossman-Emms’ series, here’s Manon ripping up South Wales in training and generally preparing for what will hopefully be an even better season next year.
