Greg Minnaar wins Fort William World Cup

G.O.A.T

What. A. Race! Greg Minnaar has claimed his seventh Fort William victory and his third in a row on a wet track in the Highlands.

Greg’s run was simply majestic as he floated over through the woods that were causing problems for so many others. Even more remarkable is that rain started falling just before the top ten took to the track.

Jack Moir was second with a belter of a run that cements his place as one of mountain biking’s top riders – not even Minnaar could match his power down the motorway.

Aaron Gwin came down third but some sloppy mistakes may have cost him dearly.

Marcelo Gutierrez continued on from his stellar result in Lourdes to claim fourth with a monumental motorway section.

Remi Thirion rounded out the top five
