Fork settings of Gwin, Atherton, Rude, Fairclough and more revealed

Pressures and clicks of the top riders revealed

Fox is auctioning off some pro rider forks for the Ride2Recovery charity and, in doing so, has inadvertently revealed some of the settings used by the top riders.

The forks come with the special orange edition lowers that are reserved for series leaders or Rampage competitors. The forks will be put on Fox’s eBay with no reserve and a starting price of 99p. Don’t be expecting a bargain though, Gwin’s is the only one currently on sale and has already rocketed to nearly two and a half grand.

Each fork has been signed by the athlete, has a custom wall display, and will come with its own unique, course-crafted dings and scuffs, and even a little dust.

Because the steerer tube lengths were cut to length and might not fit your bike, FOX factory race techs have serviced them to include a new crown, steerer tube, and Kashima coated upper tubes, fresh oil, and set them up to the rider’s last competition settings.

Let’s take a look at what those settings are (numbers are clicked out from fully closed (clockwise)):
