The ROCKSHOX Reverb has been the benchmark dropper post for many years now. The update to longer stroke options last year was much needed but the control lever stayed the same – until now. The 1x under-bar Reverb lever has arrived.
The hydraulically operated Reverb was the first dropper post to offer internal routing through the frame with their ‘Stealth’ option. This, combined with the silky smooth operation, and numerous range of size and drop options has kept this RockShox post at the top of the dropper wish list for many riders. The original Reverb earned a place in the 2011 Dirt 100 line up and has been in this yearly ‘best products’ selection every year since then. SRAM got the design right at the beginning. It’s been a case of steady evolution of the original concept and now with the post in its third generation it’s damn near perfect. All except for the control lever design, which was starting to feel a touch dated and ergonomically compromised when compared to some of the cable operated ‘under bar’ designs from other brands.
Well here it is – for all those riders with a single ring transmission and space under the bars on the left – the Reverb 1x remote.
