Bromont (Canada) will host the UCI Nissan Mountain Bike World Cup (XCO#7 and DHI/4X#5) from 1 – 3 August 2008. The small Quebec town is far from new to the mountain bike scene, having already organised the UCI World Championships in 1992, UCI World Cup events in 1993, 1996, 1998 and 1999 as well as the UCI Masters World Championships in 1999 and 2006. For this occasion, three new circuits will be designed and set up. The downhill and 4X tracks will be permanent, adding a significant attraction to Bromont’s National Cycling Centre.
