While racing in the Penarth DownTown race Dirt Team rider Rob ‘Dazzla’ Breakwell crashed on one of the shady jumps and ended up in Cardiff Hospital. I’ve just spoken to him this morning and he seems okay though a little fuzzy with the morphine. Apparently there was one particular sketchy jump that a few riders had shown concern over, Dazzla hit it flat out first time and binned it hard onto the tarmac, resulting in a dislocated elbow and a compound break of the arm. Its been a rough season for Rob with injury after injury but he’s a tough cookie and were sure he’ll bounce back next season.
