Well we have most probably just had the busiest weekend of the year so far. In the UK there was the first round of the Nissan Qashqai Urban Challenge in Newcastle (Darren Berrecloth took the win in front of 10,000 spectators…so they say), it was the second round of the Welsh Dragon Downhill at Mountain Ash (along with their chainless seeding runs!). Over in France Peaty, Minnaar and a load of others turned up for the Sprint Avalanche in Lyon. And then finally over in California there were plenty of international pro’s out in force for the first US National of the year at Fontucky. Cody Warren and Cathy Pruitt took DH, with the lovers Jill Kintner and Bryn Atkinson taking the 4X. And it is only just May.

And one other thing. Some of our friends in ‘sunny California’ may find this hard to believe, but we have got rain. Now that might not seem that special, but it has only really rained once here in the last 6 or 8 weeks. And we need the rain

Outta of here. Oh yeah, today is a Bank Holiday, but we are still working on the magazine! At least the sun isn’t out!
