How’s it going? It’s so sunny up here its unreal! Not likely its been pissing rain all week and there’s fresh snow on the top of the hill aswell! Winter is dead but its ghost is coming back to haunt us! Donald and I were working up the top on Monday, trying to fix that hole in the landing of the hip jump that keeps coming back! It was chucking it down with snow. Got to 10 and thought, ‘sod it let’s go cut down some trees in the forest were its warm’.
Other good news is that the boss has said I can keep Donald on for the summer which will be great not having to work on my own all the time.
Phil is up this week doing a bit of shaping to the new start section on the 4X, telling digger drivers to go through fences and finding tools of mine that he left in the trees last time he was here! I’ve been avoiding the snow and helping rake.
We’ve being putting a massive tunnel in the finish straight for spectator access at the worlds. Really it’s just an excuse for Phil and I to re-shape the jumps!
Scotland is like another world, but it is bang on our doorstep. And it has given me a good idea for the mag. I’ve got a great idea Mike, relocate your office up here!
