If it wasn’t for YT Industries stealing the value for money show, then this Nukeproof would be blowing minds with its unbelievable component spec and quality ride character. Full XO is “nuts” according to Dirt’s bike tester Steve Jones, and no one can deny that it is true. How have they managed it at this price?
Slight geometry changes to the 2013 model make this bike a true contender in the performance stakes too. It’s great for more than just the race that it is named after, in fact we have enjoyed riding the Mega for uplift days down at the Forest of Dean, cross country rides around the local single-track, and the Chain Reaction team have proved its worth in a number of enduro races. The Mega sits nicely into its travel and yet is lively, fun and ‘poppy’, it picks up well and can be thrown around the trail.
Finally, this is one build that is truly ‘ready to ride’ out of the box; no cheap tyres, dodgy handle bar widths or cop-out components here.
