It is possibly one of the classic examples of evolution. Once a heavy long-travel bike that was too much for much of what the UK had to offer, it has become the sub-30lb bike that can be a trail bike or an enduro mountain bike depending on how you feel. Maybe the two disciplines have amalgamated, the Spicy and Zesty nearly have and it is tricky to decide between the two, so closely are they matched. One of the best suspension systems in the business, it’s a bike that has had the eye of ten-time world champion Nico Vouilloz cast over it. A bike proven at the highest level but ultimately one of those great all-rounders. Oh and don’t forget the electronic damper!
