It is in Morgins, Switzerland, that you get to unleash the not so fine detail of the Scott Gambler. Under the towering Dents du Midi you get to realize there is more to this bike than pure muscle, you also get a sniff of the genesis of this thumper in the process. >>
The bike might have a fair set of balls, it can hammer hard, but the essence of the Gambler is sensitivity at speed, for it’s only then that you get to release its weightless pace. Sounds not so simple right? OK it’s a serious bike for serious tracks and Scott might consider adding in their sales pitch that you need a committed attitude to complement this high living bruiser, because you can only realise the finer detail once up to speed.
