As much as we love the increased protection that the D3 offers when push comes to shove we still can’t part with our D2’s. The considerably lower price helps of course, but we also love the fit of the D2, it will always remain the benchmark, as will its looks 
which we still think are hard to beat. Over the years the D2 has also more than proved its ability to protect our heads, and so when you put all those facts together it’s hard to write the D2 off. Basically we think it’s an absolute classic and we can’t imagine a day when it won’t be considered one.
