The one time obsession for massive seats on DH bikes is another unexplained trend, and thankfully it’s one that also died a death. Even the great Nico Vouilloz got in on this act at one point, it had so many brainwashed. As far as I could tell there were no advantages whatsoever, yet there were a whole pile of disadvantages. The trend even managed to spawn a competition to see who could make the biggest seat, and Scott were clearly the winner…
This bike deserves a place in this ‘Worst Mountain Bike Products Ever’ list, and for countless reasons.
