What were we thinking? This photo kind of says it all really. I’d love to know who it was who kicked the bar end thing off because whoever it was must have been some kind of marketing genius. I mean thankfully 99% of us have since discovered that they are absolutely pointless, but for some reason in the early 90’s everyone thought they had to have a pair fitted to their bars. There’s one thing that worries me though…and that’s that trends seem to have a habit of coming back around. Please, please, please don’t let that happen with bar ends though. Into the worst mountain bike products list it goes.
