This one isn’t a specific product as such, it’s simply any hub (normally front ones) that have loose spacers, nonetheless its made its way onto the worst mountain bike products category. If you’ve never owned such a hub then you’re bloody lucky cos they are nothing short of immensely irritating. They make fitting a wheel umpteen times more difficult than it should be, which is annoying enough, but that’s not a patch on how annoying it is when you’ve just driven miles to somewhere to ride, only to find out that you dropped the spacer at home and now your wheel is completely useless. We could almost forgive this design if there really was no other alternative, but seeing as other hub manufacturers manage to avoid this situation we feel this design should be outlawed forever more.
