GT Factory Racing announced their plans for the 2014 World Cup and Enduro World Series last night at a pre-season launch event. Gee, Rachel and Dan Atherton, along with Atherton Racing teammates Taylor Vernon, Martin Maes and Marc Beaumont, reflected on the triumphs and failures of the 2013 season, their off-season training, and the strategy for the year ahead.
With Rachel, Gee and Martin coming off the back of an incredibly successful 2014, the question is where to next? Rachel is aiming for a clean sweep in the World Cup Series, and Gee has also stated that he’s aiming for nothing less than number one in all events. Martin Maes moves up to the Elite Category for the Enduro World Series this year.

Dan and Taylor are both recovering from surgery, and Taylor has stated that this year his aim is to reign things in a little, take his time, and aim to stay injury free.
The team unveiled the 2014 GT Fury team bikes, which feature the bigger 27.5 inch (650b) wheel size. You’ll notice the power meters; all part of the research and strategy that goes into making this team one of the most successful out there.
