Four of the best downhill bike’s in one of Europe’s best destinations. Dirt’s 2015 downhill bike test recently took place in Pila, Italy. Before we go into the detail and outcome of the bikes here’s a quick look at what’s on offer in that sunny place the other side of the Mt Blanc tunnel.

What set’s Pila apart is from many other Alpine locations is the great climate on the south side of Europe’s intimidating mountain chain. It might be raining in Chamonix but in the hill’s above Aosta, there’s a good chance of dust, a mix of super technical or flowing trails, and…as you’ll see an entertaining night life!
