Like some of the best things in life, and more to the point biking, great things come from humble beginnings. In this case what started as a few mates getting together has turned into the biggest bike event in South Africa outside the DH World Cup.
Now in it’s third consecutive year the jam has grown into a 3500 spectator event that doesn’t care about wheel size. BMXer’s and MTB riders all ride together in jam format with jusdging taken care of for individual categories.
The Sam’s Reynolds and Pilgrim went out there to show some UK muscle. Unfortunately Pilgrim ended up with heat stroke so it was down to Mr Reynolds to hold it down for the UK. He did just that, coming out on top for best trick and the overall in MTB.
Aspect Media were out there to capture the action on video with Jacob Gibbins and Eric Palmer beaming over a bunch of photos too, proper tidy.
