The desert of Utah is a far cry from the snowy mountains of British Columbia so to train, the Bearclaw puts away his Sender and gets aboard a 450cc snow mx (snotocross) bike.
As for skills, it’s all about backcountry riding, strength and pushing the limits. Berrecloth said: “When I get up on these peaks, I have the same feeling between big mountain riding on my mountain bike and on the snowbike. Picking lines, in my mind I’m on a mountain bike trail just shredding.”
