Ok, so we know it’s not as scary as mountain lions or bears, but here’s another animal attack from the mtb world.
This time we’re at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Florida and the culprit is an alligator… although, only a baby one.
The riders do the right thing and try to push it off the trail, but that doesn’t stop it from snapping back. It was unlikely to cause anything worse than a puncture but we’re glad mummy gator wasn’t in the area to have her say.
