I think I’m going to Kathmandu, that’s really, really where I’m going to. If I ever get out of here, that’s what I’m gonna do.
Not a lot of people realise that roots rocker Bob Seger was also a keen freeriding, all-mountain, hucker. Bob had a dream of hitting up the trails of Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu, but alas I don’t think he ever “got out of here”.
We’re lucky then that Mandil Pradhan sent over this edit showcasing the beauty that is Nepal. Being slap bang in the middle of the Himalayas the riding is always going to be absolutely stunning. 2014 World Enduro round anyone?
The city is a ceaseless frenzy of chattering vendors, garish signs, pagoda like temples, and the overpowering smell of incense. The surrounding hills, however, tell a different story.
A marks the spot.
