The female Foxhunt is back for 2016 and there’s a new course in a new venue for the women to race down. Melmerby Scar, Cumbria, will play host to over 200 women, all hoping to evade Rachel Atherton as they speed down the hill. Rach is there at the moment getting some valuable practice in and has posted up this preview of the track.
It may not be the most technical course in the world but it looks accessible for all levels with opportunities for the fastest women to go big. It’s also wide and flat out so expect some wacky-racing style overtakes come Sunday.
