The title battle between Manon Carpenter and Rachel Atherton is currently led by Manon. Carpenter is 160 points clear of second placed Emmeline Ragot and 180 points ahead of Rachel. As we saw in the last head to head from Leogang it was clear where the gains were made.
Check out this footage that shows just how tight it was on race day in Mont Sainte Anne. Manon Carpenter took the win by just 0.724s over Rachel, things are getting tight at the top! With just two races left this season it could go down to the wire.
There was no race at Windham last season but in 2012 Rachel won on this track. That said Manon is the rider to beat this year and has been getting stronger each race, it’s all to play for and there will no doubt be more tight times next weekend.
