Official mass start races in the UK are few and far between, but the Macavalanche has to be one of the most prolific.
Blue skies over Glencoe once again greeted the 300 riders but it wasn’t hot enough to burn off the snow right at the top of the mountain. The riders took part in a seeding stage in the morning then took to the slopes for the afternoon’s main event.
