Last year we published a video analysis of the Dirt team put together by Morrocco Media, who took a trip to Leogang in Austria to film and dissect the race course, looking at various sections of track and the ways in which different riders approached them. Now they have taken their video analysis approach and applied it to one corner from the Enduro World Series finals from Finale Ligure.
One corner may not sound like much, but hold your judgement until you’ve watched the vid. We were particularly interested in the comparison between Nicolas Lau and Fabien Barel, which highlights their focus as they ride the turn. Lau dominated the race (missing out on the win due to a time penalty for being late to a lunchtime checkpoint, something he won’t be doing again!), especially on the particular stage that is on show here. If ever it needed reiterating that we should look ahead when riding, this is it.
