Yeti Cycles UK Tribemeet 2015 is ON

Yeti are one of those brands that has a fanatical following… fans all over the world. Every year they hold their annual Tribemeet out in the US, but over the years the idea of ‘the tribe meeting up’ has expanded and grown to cover all parts of the world. The UK is no exception and 2015 will see the 15th Tribemeet, this time held in and around Llangollen and Llandegla, August the 8th and 9th. If you are Yeti mad, have a bike (a Yeti of course) then you have to be there. Here’s the press release from UK Yeti distributor Silverfish:

OK, so this is Llangollen… but you can dream!

“Race bred brand Yeti Cycles have always had a cult like following and the yearly ‘tribe’ gathering continues to attract Yeti fans from around the country who travel to take part in the meet each year. Now in its 12th year the 2015 gathering is set to take place on the trails around both Llangollen and Llandegla over the weekend of August the 8th and 9th 2015 with two days of riding available on both natural and trail centre tracks.

The annual UK tribe meeting is the coming together of Yeti riders and fans from all corners of the country and for 2015 riders will be able to sample two different locations around the Denbighshire countryside. Set over two days the free to attend event gives riders the chance to not only enjoy the miles of natural trails around Llangollen but also mix and swap stories with likeminded Yeti owners.

Based at the Abbey Farm Caravan site, Saturday will see riders have the option of participating in either one or two guided rides taking place throughout the day. Both rides will head out around the natural trails of Llangollen taking in some of the best local singletrack on offer in the area. After the ride tribe members will gather at the campsites main bar area where a selection of Yeti retro bikes will be on display as well as the chance to discuss the days riding over a cold beverage or two and grab some grub.

Sunday sees the tribe meeting located up the road at One Planet Adventure, Llandegla where riders will have the chance to sample the much loved network of way marked trails available at their own pace as well as visit the onsite shop and café where we’re sure the Yeti burger is sure to be a popular option from the BBQ.

This guy (Chris Conroy) might be there…
