The Athertons have a new web series for 2016 called Trek Factory Racing Dailies. Here are the first three episodes showing all the behind the scenes action from Lourdes. The one above is from the race day and practice and qualifying are below.
As they hail from deepest, darkest Wales you’d think that the Atherton’s wouldn’t struggle with the mud in Lourdes, but as these videos show, they battled as much as everyone else – Gee’s slam on the wall is already a viral sensation! However, on their new Trek Sessions they managed to salvage a very respectable weekend with Rachel taking her 27th world cup win in the women’s category and Gee grabbing 7th in the men’s.
Expect more dailies to be fired your way from Cairns later this month.
