ICONIC CANADIAN BRAND NORCO BICYCLES TO BE DISTRIBUTED EXCLUSIVELY BY EVANS CYCLES IN THE UK
July 2011 – Evans Cycles is proud to announce the addition of Canadian
bicycle manufacturer, Norco Bicycles, to its brand portfolio. Canadas
largest cycling manufacturer will add a robust product offering to
Evans already impressive operations. Skip Swain, VP of Sales and
Marketing at Norco said, We are very excited to announce this new
partnership with Evans Cycles. Skip added Evans is a well known and
trusted source for cycling product and a natural step in strengthening
our presence in the UK market.
As an initial offering Evans will carry key models from the Norco line
including: cyclo-cross, aluminium-framed mens and womens road bikes,
mountain bikes (including downhill, 29er, hardtail and trail) and urban
/ flat-bar road bikes, with plans to expand and progress the range even
further over time.
2012 product is set to arrive in the UK early in the New Year and will
be available through Evans Cycles extensive network of stores and
online mail-order service. Evans will also be distributing Norco
Bicycles to UK dealers. Norco continues its trend of creating
innovative and exciting bicycles, said Joel N, of
Evans Cycles, the 2012 line up showcases the significant forward
momentum of the brand, and we are excited to present this line to the
UK.
With 46 years of history, the Norco bikes are a direct representation of
the environment and riders that develop the product. The local terrain,
staff and sponsored riders play a crucial role in the companys product
design and development. The line up of 160 bicycle models spans
everything from competition Road Racing bikes to World Cup Downhill,
dirt jump and childrens bikes alike.
