Danny Hart and Rachel Atherton win round 2 of the British Downhill series from Fort William

Danny Hart has won round two of the British Downhill Series from Fort WIlliam, Scotland.

Gee Atherton finished second and Loic Brni grabbed third. In the women’s event, Rachel Atherton took the win ahead of Manon Carpenter and Tahnee Seagrave.

The race was run on an unusually dry Fort William World Cup track with a new remodelled motorway added in for 2016. With the World Cup heading to Fort William in just three weeks time these results bode well British fans who will be eager for some home success.
