An early start took riders high into the French Alps for the first day of racing at round three of the 2014 Enduro World Series in Valloire, France. With three stages on the first day we were set for an awesome day and the riders didn’t disappoint.
Day one saw domination from the Trek Factory Team, Tracy Moseley and Justin Leov came out on top after three stages, and Rene Wildhaber landed 2nd in the Men’s race just 7.225s behind Leov.
Anne-Caroline Chausson is just over 20s back on Tracy Moseley and Anneke Beerten has taken the familiar spot Cecile Ravanel has been used to coming in 3rd ahead of the French rider.
Going into day two there is a lot to play for, with multiple mechanicals on day one Jared Graves will be wanting to push hard to gain some places back and round two winner Nico Lau will also be going flat out to better his 4th palace on day one.
