Commencal unveils World Champs custom bikes

The first World Champs bikes have been revealed

One of the best thing about the World Championships each year are the custom frames riders throw themselves down the hill on. Commencal is the first to break cover this year with six Supremes filled with patriotic pride.

Commencal’s five French riders (Myriam Nicole, Remi Thirinon, Gaetan Vige, Amaury Pierron and Thomas Estaque) will be on a brushed frames with tricolore graphics and matching handlebars and wheels. The top tube also has a French cockrel inscribed in it and a “have fun” message.

Commencal described the frames as: “An experiment in style that we like in particular” and thanked Rockshox, HT, Spank and Renthal for providing custom parts

As the sole Kiwi on the team, George Brannigan will be running unique tribal patterns on his silver frame, again with matching components, and his top tube features a kiwi bird to replace the cockrel.
