Just had an email from World Cup 4x rider Joost Wichman telling me about his winter digging project. Take it away Joost:

At this moment we are building a World Cup class 4X track. This will be the first in the Netherlands. Last weekend we had our first shape camp in Groningen.
The track carries everything you may expect from a good 4X track; logs, rockgarden, big pro line, offcamber turn and so on.
Thanks to the guys from bikepark Groningen we do not have to go across the border anymore to improve our MTB skills.
We will be building a pumptrack as well. So keep your eyes on Groningen or joostwichman form new dates for the next shape camp!
