Rhys Willemse took the gold at Shepparton, Australia this weekend with a 2:12.05 just 0.56 ahead of Bryn’s brother, Rhys Atkinson with Tim Eaton in 3rd.
If the Elites was close the juniors was even closer with Troy Brosnan beating Connor Fearon by just 0.10 second. Brosnan’s time of 2:12.85 would have placed him 3rd in Elites.
Holly “Barspin” Baarspul won the womens event with a 2:38.81.
