The Ben and Tom Ride in Peace Fund was set up following the tragic deaths of young DH rippers Ben Ineson and Tom Rodgers. The aim of the Fund is to develop and assist young riders in their DH riding.

The first event we’re organising will be a training weekend for JUVENILES.
The criteria is that you must be a Juvenile racing at least one SDA race this year (I know only 2 are open at the moment).
The event will be run by Dirt School at Innerleithen on Saturday 2nd July 2011. We can take 5 Juveniles that day, if the demand is there we can do Sunday as well for another 6 Juveniles (you won’t ride both days, one or the other).
The Fund is paying over 2/3rds of the cost but each Juvenile will have to pay £20.
If the demand is too great it’ll be names out of the hat.
If this event goes well we will run another later in the year and maybe look at some of the other age categories, the Fund is also looking at other ways to support our young riders (but any suggestions are welcomed).
