Chris Ball on his way to the Amateur Race win.

The name Provence may stir thoughts of lazy villages, lunchtime wine and mile upon mile of olive groves but that’s something riders of the Trans Provence only get to experience in snippets. The rest of the time they are flat out, on edge and pushing themselves through one of the most demanding races in the global calendar.

If you want to check out what each of the days is like then check out each of the day’s results and videos here.

Day 1 – Day 2 – Day 3 – Day 4 – Day 5 – Day 6

Nico Lau high in the hills of Provence.

The 2013 race was the tightest ever with Nico Lau taking the Elite Mens win over Enduro World Series Champion Jerome Clementz by just one second. Thats pretty amazing after 8449 seconds of racing in the 6 day event.

Anka Martin took the women’s win with a solid lead of 6 minutes over her nearest rivals whilst husband and photographer Sven Martin topped out the Masters race. Enduro World Series director Chris Ball took the Amateur race win finally ending up 9th overall, not bad for a race organiser!

Sven Martin pinned.

The Trans Provence team released videos of each day’s racing and they have also released a full highlights edit that you can check out here.
