Loic Bruni roosting the loose South African dust.
What a blinder for the Lapierre team in PMB, Sam Blenkinsop put in a stormer of a run taking 4th place, only 0.413s off Graves who’s 3rd place gap was a very apt 3.333s behind Mick Hannah.
Loris Vergier took the second step of the Junior podium 5.727s back on gold winning Ritchie Rude. He put in a stormer on a tough track and is well setup for the final two rounds of the World Cup.
Ragot flying over the rocks in practice
Emmeline Ragot matched her younger team mate’s efforts taking second place behind Rachel Atherton in the women’s race. The gap was larger at 8.632 seconds but still a solid race for Ragot who will be wanting to put more time into Atherton in Hafjell and Leogang over the coming weeks.
Looking at the Geek Stats Blenki was never outside the top 6 in Sectors 1 and 2 but he twisted the throttle for the final section and came in 3rd for sector 3 just 0.074 behind power house Graves.
Loic Bruni just slipped outside the top 10 behind pinner Troy Brosnan. Interestingly he was only 0.127 behind Mick Hannah in Sector 3 which is pretty impressive!
All in all two 2nd places a 4th and an 11th show the quality in the Lapierre team who will be pushing hard again at the final two rounds in Norway and Austria.
